A FERTILE GROUND FOR INNOVATION FOR OVER TWO CENTURIES
Built on resilient soil that has been nurtured, cultivated, and naturally revitalized for over 20 years of organic market gardening, PurDélys continues to leverage constant innovation to adopt sustainable agricultural practices.
Grown with the utmost respect for nature, each of our organic fruits, vegetables, and grains is not only a vital source of essential nutrients but also a testament to the possibility of producing high-quality organic products at scale.
GENERATIONS OF PASSION FOR SUSTAINABLE FARMING
From the first family farm established in Saint-Isidore-de-Laprairie in 1772 to today, the DesGroseilliers family has cultivated the land with passion and respect. This agricultural heritage has been passed down through generations. In 2009, however, the farm officially transitioned to organic farming after years of preparation led by pioneers Marcel DesGroseilliers and Marie-France Lohé, a legacy now carried forward by their children with the creation of Jardins PurDélys.
1772

PRESERVING THE MEMORY OF THE LAND
Over the years, PurDélys has acquired land from neighboring families whose original owners wished to retire and had no successors to continue their farming activities. As a tribute to these dedicated farmers who devoted their lives to nurturing the land they cultivated, we chose to preserve their names to identify our fields.
Thus, our fields are not simply numbered; they carry names such as Dulude, Sicard, Vinet, Fontaine, and others. These families, at one time or another, contributed to the growth of our beautiful region through their hard work. They entrusted us to continue cultivating their land in our own way, and it is important to us that we honor and remember them.
