MASTERING THE ART OF LARGE-SCALE ORGANIC FARMING

PurDélys is the largest producer of field-grown organic fruits and vegetables in Eastern Canada. Our family-run farm spans over 300 hectares, spread across the most prominent market gardening region in Québec. With a commitment to maintaining balance with the surrounding ecosystem, this open-air living factory is divided into seven carefully selected zones to ensure healthy and thriving harvests throughout the summer.Year after year, more than 100 temporary foreign workers return to join our family and our valued long-time colleagues to cultivate over twenty varieties of organic fruits and vegetables, as well as a range of organic grains destined for human and animal consumption.

Despite challenges, we are committed to delivering the freshest organic products without harming the ecosystem. Through bold farming choices and one vegetable at a time, we contribute to healthy eating.

Sustainability

To preserve and even improve natural resources for future generations, we firmly believe in resilient farming that combines prevention with rigor.

History

FERTILE GROUND FOR INNOVATION FOR OVER TWO DECADES

Built on resilient soil that has been carefully worked, nourished, and naturally revitalized for more than 20 years for organic vegetable farming, PurDélys now thrives on constant innovation to incorporate sustainable agricultural practices. Always cultivated with respect for nature, each of our organic fruits, vegetables, and grains is not only a source of essential nutrients but also proof that high-quality organic products can be produced on a large scale.

History

GENERATIONS OF PASSION FOR SUSTAINABLE FARMING

From the first family farm established in Saint-Isidore-de-Laprairie in 1772 to today, the DesGroseilliers family has cultivated the land with passion and respect. This agricultural and entrepreneurial legacy has been passed down from generation to generation. However, it was in 2009 that the farm officially transitioned to organic farming, following years of gradual change initiated by pioneers Marcel DesGroseilliers and Marie-France Lohé. Their vision is now carried forward by their children with the creation of Jardins PurDélys.

History

CULTIVATING HERITAGE, PRESERVING THE SOUL OF THE LAND

Every field tells a story.

Since the beginning, we have welcomed the land of neighboring families—visionary farmers who, without successors, entrusted us with their most precious legacy. These lands, rich in memories and hard work, are far more than agricultural plots.

To honor them, we chose to retain their names to identify our fields: Dulude, Sicard, Vinet, Fontaine, and many more. Each name represents a story, a labor of love, a passion, and a contribution to the prosperity of our region.

For us, preserving the memory of the soil means honoring those who nurtured and cherished the land before us. It means perpetuating respectful practices while innovating to protect this legacy for future generations. Cultivating these lands is not just an agricultural responsibility—it is a mission: to continue their story while adding our own, always guided by values of respect, sustainability, and gratitude.

Nos valeurs sont profondément ancrées dans notre héritage familial agricole.
