PurDelys earns recognition from Moisson Rive-Sud for its impact in the community
Our generous donations of vegetables to Moisson Rive-Sud during the year 2024-2025 were the subject of an official Certificate of Recognition from the organization, as they wanted to highlight our “active participation in feeding life, with a total donation of 2805 kg of food.”
Every year for many years, Les Maraîchers Bec Sucré, which includes the PurDélys organic vegetable farm, has provided Moisson Rive-Sud with a large quantity of vegetables free of charge for the various public aid organizations it oversees.
In 2025 alone, our donations amounted to about 6000 cauliflowers, 1350 broccoli plants, 3000 ears of sweet corn, 3000 bags of carrots and 4000 bags of potatoes and counting.
Thanks to this contribution—and the support of its many partners—Moisson Rive-Sud, the leading food bank in Montérégie, is able to assist families, children, seniors, and individuals facing daily food insecurity. Over the past year, the organization has responded to more than 3 million requests for food assistance.
Our Purpose: Nourishing Communities with the Healthiest Food Possible
At Pur Délys, we give just about every vegetable and at any time of the local season. We are even donating carrots, cabbage and onions right now, as the holidays approach and during the winter.
“Feeding with the healthiest food possible is our raison d’être,” explains Denis DesGroseilliers, CEO. We know that many Quebecers cannot necessarily afford fresh vegetables, let alone organic ones. That’s why, whenever we have the means, it’s only natural for us to provide the very best to those who need it most.”
