Making Organic Food Accessible to All
Organic farming is complex to implement on large-scale farms. In the late 2000s, the DesGroseilliers family took on this challenge with uncompromising ambition, initiating the transition to organic certification with Ecocert Canada. For them, adopting farming practices that prioritize harmony with nature and soil health made sense only if they also met the efficiency and competitiveness demands of the traditional supply chain.
This conviction and business model—where every organic crop is cultivated to be commercially viable at all levels—now provide access to locally grown organic fruits and vegetables in major food banners across Canada and the Northeastern United States.
THE PROMISE OF A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
True to our values, we are dedicated to producing the highest-quality organic fruits, vegetables, and grains while respecting nature’s rhythm. Our pillars are simple: recognized certifications, impeccable food safety, and uncompromising quality. Through our commitment, we ensure healthy, ethical, and sustainable harvests, always freshly picked to preserve their taste and benefits.
THREE PILLARS OF OUR PURPOSE
Certifications
Our organic certifications ensure a commitment to sustainable organic products and complete traceability at every stage of the process. Every product we grow meets the highest Canadian and American standards for responsible food practices.
SAFETY
We adhere to strict standards to ensure the safety of our products. From production to distribution, we comply with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) criteria, recognized in North America as the ultimate guide to food safety.
QUALITY
Despite the large scale of the Purdélys farm, the majority of our organic fruits and vegetables are still hand-harvested, rigorously inspected during packaging,
THE BEST IS INSIDE
Every fresh PurDélys product you purchase has been carefully selected and grown with the utmost environmental consciousness—always free from synthetic pesticides and with a special focus on variety selection. Our goal is to make organic fruits and vegetables indispensable, not only for their human and environmental benefits but also because they taste “real,” as if they came straight from your garden. The equation is simple: healthy soil produces healthy fruits and vegetables, and healthy food contributes to overall well-being.
BEYOND ORGANIC
Our commitment extends far beyond farming, resource preservation for future generations, and healthy eating. We actively support local initiatives that promote the health and well-being of the communities around us. Whether through entrepreneurial mentorship partnerships, collaborative efforts in agronomic research, or awareness-raising projects, we firmly believe that organic farming must play a key role in improving quality of life and fostering local economic development.
